We constructed surveys to distribute to year group, Transition Year, today.
We decided to focus our target audience at Primary School Children. We thought long and hard about our name and decided on Tree Of A Kind. We made our slogan to be “Big Steps, Little Minds”. This means that if we make people aware about climate change, they would respect the earth and nature better. We came up with our idea to educate young children of 1st class about climate change and global warming. We will do this by taking a multi curricular approach.
We brainstormed ideas and decided who our target audience would be. More importantly, we had to think of a name and slogan to base our project on.
We watched a DVD to educate us about Climate Change and Global Warming. The US Vice President and election candidate, Al Gore featured in this DVD.
We as TY students, got the One Good Idea project as our year long class group module. We got into groups of 2-5 people and compared and contrasted ideas. Our group consists of Laura Hennelly McCarthy, Megan Freeman, Victoria Fitzsimons, Erika O’Neill and Orla McMahon.
